GIFFNOCK UNITED REFORMED CHURCH
SUNDAY 27TH NOVEMBER 2011
INTIMATIONS

Our minister, Lesley Moseley, will lead our worship today.
Today is the first Sunday in Advent and we will light the first of our Advent candles.

Tonight the four Giffnock churches have their Advent service in Park Church at 6.30pm. A joint choir will sing. Come along and enjoy!

Every Wednesday we have our weekly lunchtime service at 11.30am.
Lunchbite is at 12.15pm, and Leisure and Learning is at 2pm.

Deacons are reminded of their meeting on Wednesday 30th at 7.15pm.

The Saturday Sales are open from 10am till noon. Please come and enjoy tea/coffee/biscuits and a chat as you browse the stalls.

During the first three Sundays in Advent—27th November, 4th and 11th December, there will be containers in which you are invited to deposit warm clothing and dried goods, which will be taken to the Loaves and Fishes charity.

Shawlands URC are hosting a West Link Quiz night tomorrow evening at 7.30pm.
Can anyone who would like to take part or support the team meet for a few minutes in the hall after the service?
This is a team quiz so don’t be shy!!

Join us for tea and a chat on Thursday afternoon at 2pm in the lounge.

You are invited to the College Advent Service which will take place on Thursday 1st December at 7pm in Barrhead United Reformed Church.

You are invited to attend that event.
