“Evensong” will be held at Park Church tonight at 6.30pm. Come and enjoy this informal service with lots of singing.

Every Wednesday we have our weekly lunchtime service 11.30am.
Tea and coffee will be provided afterwards. Bring your own piece!
Thanks to all who helped at the first soup and roll lunch last Wednesday.

The Bible Study Group meets on Wednesday 18th at 7 30pm.

Collectors are required for Christian Aid week (starting 15th May). Any help, however small, will be appreciated. See Sheila Graham today.

Please remember to look at the West Link/Glasgow South Churches, and noticeboards marked Local Churches, outside the Lounge.

The next meeting of the Glasgow Southside churches will be on Monday 16th May at 7.30pm. Please try to support this event as we consider the way forward together.

Priesthill ladies group are having a Mamma Mia night on Friday 20th May to raise money for Cancer research.

The first summer Coffee Morning will take place on Saturday 21st May and will be organised by the Guild. Please note the opening time of 10am.

The Co- Moderator of the General Assembly of the U.R.C. Val Morrison will be leading a seminar “Celebrating Lay Leadership” on Saturday 28th May from 10.30 till 3 in Barrhead URC. See the poster for more details.

The Jumble Sale raised well over £1000. Thanks to all who worked so tirelessly.

Deacons are reminded to give names of people in their district who would benefit from Holiday at Home, to Lesley or Alison as soon as possible.

Christian Aid Prayer for the Week
This year, Christian Aid Week is focussing on Nicaragua. During the week please pray for an end to the intense poverty in Nicaragua where more than a fifth of the population have no access to clean drinking water.

Lectionary readings for next week (22nd May) are entitled ‘Foundations’.
