• Our minister Lesley Moseley will lead today’s worship.

• Chancel. Deliverers please note Chancel is now ready for distribution.

• The Sunday evening Lent Studies take place at St Aidan’s church tonight at 7.30pm for coffee and 8pm for the study. Rev. Chris Vermeulen will lead the study.

• Tonight at 6.30pm, Park Church is holding “Evensong” an informal service with lots of singing. Come along and enjoyed this time of fellowship together.

• Every Wednesday we have our weekly lunchtime service 11.30am.
Tea and coffee will be provided after the service. Bring your own piece!

• The Bible Study Group will meet on Wednesday 6th April at 7.30pm

• Please remember to look at the West Link/Glasgow South Churches, and noticeboards marked Local Churches, outside the Lounge.

• You can order a Fairtrade Easter Egg from David Christie for £4

• Since some of the activities in the church stop at the end of March, a programme has been prepared for some lunches and coffee mornings during the spring and summer months.
Put your name on the list if you can help at any of the events.

• Thanks to all the volunteers who have helped with the Saturday Sales and Lunchbite over the winter months. Without you, we could not had these good times of fellowship together, as well as raising money.
Your help has been really appreciated.

• This year again at Holy Week we are holding an Open Doors event.
The church will be open on Tuesday 19th, Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st April from 10.30 till noon.
On the Tuesday John Balding will play a selection of Passion- tide music.
If you are able to help with teas or talking to visitors, please put your name on the list on the notice board.
Plan to bring along friends and neighbours to show them your church.

• Holy Week services this year will be shared amongst the four Giffnock churches.
They will take place in Orchardhill on Thursday 21st at 7pm
Giffnock South on Friday 22nd at 7pm.
Try to support these services when we can worship with the friends from our neighbouring churches.

Christian Aid Prayer for the Week
During the week please pray for children who will never recover from the effects of malnutrition.

• The Sunday evening Lent Studies take place tonight here at 7.30pm for coffee and 8pm for the study. Rev. Chris Vermeulen will lead the study.

• Enjoy our midweek activities!
Every Wednesday we have our weekly lunchtime service 11.30am.
Lunchbite is at 12.15pm. This will be the last Lunchbite for the current session.

• Deacons are reminded of their meeting on Wednesday 30th March. There will be a time of prayer at 7pm and the meeting follows at 7.30pm.

• Lent started on Wednesday 9th March. Once again we will be supporting Christian Aid through Commitment for Life by using the “Count Your Blessings” leaflets, which encourage prayer and giving during this period.

• At their recent meeting deacons decided that they could only recommend to Church Meeting that the Jumble Sale goes ahead if sufficient volunteers come forward to undertake all the necessary work. Please indicate on the charts on noticeboards if you are available to help for particular tasks. A decision will be made at the church meeting today.

• Since some of the activities in the church stop at the end of March, a programme is being prepared for some lunches and coffee mornings during the spring and summer months. This will be available shortly.

• A date for your diary
As announced previously, there is a special Synod Day at Perth Racecourse on Saturday 18th June.
A bus will run to Perth from this area, and names of those interested are requested today.

We pray for our minister and our representatives as they attend the Scottish Synod of the U.R.C.

• Articles for the Chancel should be handed to Margaret Cameron today.

• The Sunday evening Lent Studies take place tonight at St. Joseph’s Church (Clarkston) at 7.30pm for coffee and 8pm for the study. Rev. Chris Vermeulen will lead the study.

• Enjoy our midweek activities!
Every Wednesday we have our weekly lunchtime service 11.30am.
Lunchbite is at 12.15pm.
Leisure and Learning is at 2pm and is the last of the session.

• The AGM of the Guild will take place on Thursday 24th March.

• Four supermarket chains have agreed to sell Christian themed Easter eggs, which are the only ones featuring the real meaning of Easter, (which are also fair trade) produced by the Meaningful Chocolate Company.
Morrison’s, Waitrose, the Coop and Booths will be stocking them.

• We look forward to seeing you at the Saturday Sales and Coffee Mornings beginning at 10am till noon. Saturday 26th March is the last date of the session, so plan to pick up some extremely good bargains while you can—-perhaps even half price!

• Because of Synod weekend, the next church meeting will be held one week later than usual on Sunday 27th March. The minutes of the last church meeting are on the noticeboards.

• You are invited to join our Banner Group on a Tuesday morning at 10am.
If you enjoy sewing (and a challenge!) you will be made very welcome.

• To celebrate International Women’s Day and Shrove Tuesday, we are holding a Pancake Day “girls together” tea on Tuesday, March 8th at 3.30 till 4.30pm.
The cost is £1 for tea/coffee and a freshly made pancake, with the proceeds going to Oxfam.

• The Sunday evening Lent Studies start on 13th March. This year they will be led by Rev. Chris Vermeulen and are entitled “Countering Pharaoh’s Production-Consumption Society Today”
Details of times and venues will be given later, but are on noticeboards.
