• Our minister Lesley Moseley will lead today’s worship.
The A.G.M. will take place after the tea/coffee after the service.

• There will be a joint Glasgow South United Reformed Churches’ service here at 4pm today.
Please try to support this joint venture.

• You are invited to join our Banner Group on a Tuesday morning at 10am.
If you enjoy sewing (and a challenge!) you will be made very welcome.

• Enjoy our midweek activities!
Every Wednesday we have our weekly lunchtime service 11.30am.
Lunchbite is at 12.15pm.
Leisure and Learning is at 2pm.

• Deacons are reminded of their meeting on Wednesday 23rd February at 7pm for prayer and 7.30pm for the meeting.

• The Guild will meet on Thursday 24th February. The speaker will be John Queen ‘East Ren Twins’.

• Grace Smith is organising a trip to see Harlequin perform “Jesus Christ Superstar” at Eastwood Theatre on Thursday 24th March at 7.30pm.
She is willing to organise a pre-theatre meal as well if required.

• We look forward to seeing you at the Saturday Sales and Coffee Mornings beginning at 10am till noon. There are excellent bargains to be had!

• You are invited to an afternoon of fun, food and fashion at Newton Mearns Baptist Church on Saturday 26th February at the start of Fairtrade Fortnight.

• To celebrate International Women’s Day and Shrove Tuesday, we are holding a Pancake Day “girls together” tea on Tuesday, March 8th at 3.30 till 4.30pm.
The cost is £1 for tea/coffee and a freshly made pancake, with the proceeds going to Oxfam.

• Please help us sell the remaining kilos of rice (to help the project in Malawi) at a cost of £2.99 for brown rice and £2.75 for white rice.

• For your diaries:
Christian Aid are running a roadshow from 7pm till 9pm on Tuesday 1st March in Partick South Church. This would be of interest to all involved in Christian Aid week. See David Christie for details and transport arrangements.

We are delighted to welcome Revd. Chris Vermeulen from Orchardhill Parish Church who is leading our worship today as part of the Giffnock Churches’ Pulpit Exchange.
We pray for our minister Lesley Moseley as she leads worship in The Park Church.

There will be a joint Glasgow South Churches service at 4pm on Sunday 20th February. It will be held here in Giffnock U.R.C.

As Sunday 20th February will be a busy day, it has been suggested that members could enjoy an evening meal together. The Malletsheugh has been booked for 6pm. It costs £6 for a main course and £1 each for starter and sweet when also ordered. Please give your name to Roy.

You can recycle your old Christmas cards and stamps. Give them to David Christie for the Preshal Trust, a charity working to help fight poverty, drug and alcohol addiction in Glasgow.

Stephen Mackay (son of Margaret, and brought up in our church) is undertaking a long distance charity walk from Glasgow to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness in aid of cancer charities.

If you could collect your own letter, as well as any for friends and neighbours not present today, that would be greatly appreciated.

Church Flowers. The new calendar for 2011 is now in place outside the vestry. If you have the same Sunday annually, please check you have the correct date. If you do not have the same Sunday every year and prefer to choose one, please add your name in the space provided. We have quite a number of free Sundays so there is plenty of choice! Many thanks.
