Eastwood Choral’s concert ‘French Classics’ will take place tonight at 7.30pm in Merrylea Parish Church. Tickets £8 (£6).

The Jumble Sale will take place on Saturday May 1st from 11am till 3pm. Your help is required on each week night from Monday 26th April to collect, sort and set up. Every little helps.
There are also leaflets for a few streets still to be delivered.

Craft Fair. To date £870.77 has been raised. What a result!
Bakers. Please collect your empty containers from the kitchen.

Count your Blessings money is now due. Please make cheques payable to Giffnock URC.

‘In the Soup at Giffnock’
As part of our support for Christian Aid, we have now produced a Soup Recipe Book. It retails at £3.50. Several copies have been printed and are available.

Pollokshields URC Concert in support of the Cystic Fibrosis Trust will take place on Sunday 9th May at 6pm in the Fotheringay Centre. Tickets £8 (£5) or donation at the door. See poster for details.

Greenock East URC are having a fund raising dinner dance. Full details are on the West Link Notice Board.

Christian Aid Prayer for the Week
During the week, please pray for Christian Aid’s ‘Nets for Life’ programme, distributing 250,000 mosquito nets over three years in Nigeria.

The lunchtime service will be at 11.30am and Lunchbite will be at 12.15pm on Wednesday 14th April.

The Scouts will be holding ‘Another Night at the Musicals’ on Saturday 24th April at 7.30pm. Moira Harris will sell you a ticket for £5.

Roy Henderson has received information about a Quiz Night to be held in Park Church on Saturday 24th April at 7.30pm. People are invited to take part in the Quiz as individuals or as a church team. The cost is £4 including supper. Please speak to Roy if you are interested in taking part.
