There will be no lunchtime service on Wednesday 30th December. The lunchtime service will resume on Wednesday 6th January at 11.30am followed by the Lunchbite at 12.15pm.

The Saturday Sales half-price sale begins at 10am on Saturday 9th January.

“Epiphany–the Magi in art and poetry” This event run by the college will take place in our church on Wednesday 6th January from 7pm till 9pm.
Please give your name to Alison if you wish to attend.

We recycle Christmas cards and stamps.

The next Church Meeting will be held on Sunday 10th January. The minutes of the last meeting will be displayed two weeks beforehand.

A date for your diary. There will be a Joint Evening Service with Shawlands and Giffnock in our church on Sunday 10th January at 6.30pm.

If you can help with the service for patients at the Victoria Infirmary on Sunday 3rd January, please see Alison for details.

Today is Gift Sunday. Dry goods and warm clothes will go to Loaves and Fishes.

Eastwood Choral Society’s Christmas Concert takes place tonight at 7pm in The Park Church. Tickets £6 (£3).

A flower deliverer is required to take over Sandra Kirkwood’s duty. If you could help with this valuable service four or five times a year, or even part of the time, please give Alison your name.

The midweek service is on Wednesday at 11.30am. Since there is no Lunchbite, bring your own piece!

Helensburgh URC will host a Christmas Tree Festival from Wednesday 9th to 16th December, daily from 10am-8pm. Special event at 2pm on Wednesday 16th. Give your name to Alison. A warm welcome is extended to everyone.

Stephen Brown will play songs from his new album ‘Freeloading Believer’ at Giffnock URC on Monday 14th December at 8pm.

Calling all carollers. Christian Aid needs you to volunteer to join us as we sing carols inside Morrisons on the morning of Saturday 19th December between 10am and 1pm. Sing along with us and members of other Giffnock churches on a rota basis. If you can spare an hour, give David your name.
PS Enthusiasm is valued as much as the voices of angels.
