The letters of invitation to our AGM on 22nd March are available today. Please pick up your own envelope and, if you can help deliver any to your friends or neighbours, we would be very grateful.

There will be a short church meeting after the service next Sunday 8th March.

The Bible Study group will meet on Wednesday 4th March at 7.30pm to investigate Nehemiah chapter 7.

Sounds International concert will take place on Wednesday 4th March at 7.30pm in Giffnock South Parish Church. Tickets £6.

The Women’s Guild will meet on Thursday 5th March. The speaker will be David Wilson ‘ Stonemason’s Life’.

The World Day of Prayer will take place on Friday 6th March at 1.30pm in The Park Church. A warm welcome is extended to everyone.

Denis Curran of Loaves & Fishes has asked that we remember the charity at this time in our prayers. Like many charities, funds are in short supply due to the credit crunch. Pray that God will provide.

The Music Group will meet on Thursday 26th February at 7.30pm.

No more tights please! Thanks to all who contributed to this practical appeal by the Addis Ababa Fistula hospital in Ethiopia. They have been overwhelmed with donations of recycled tights and the appeal has now been closed.

Fair Trade Pudding Feast on Fair Trade Saturday 28th February from 4-6pm in Newton Mearns Baptist Church.
Bags of Fair trade/schools’ competition/stalls/children’s activities/puddings galore.

Fair Trade weekend in Royal Concert Hall from Saturday 28th February – Sunday 1st March.

The World Day of Prayer will take place on Friday 6th March at 1.30pm in The Park Church. A warm welcome is extended to everyone.

When during the week you take time out to pray for, or think about other people and situations, please give a little extra time to include those who control our borders, police our streets, attend to our safety and administer the law.

During the week, please pray for gap-year volunteers at Christian Aid, working with young people to inform and inspire them to get in the anti-poverty movement.
